Do you also experience that your co-workers’ (and others) intent to change you? A lot of us feel that way. People in managerial positions are constantly met with external demands to change and adjust their behaviour.
By switching between the use of recognition, feedback and feedforward you will achieve an increased will and motivation to change. Feedforward is aimed towards your future behaviour, which makes it easier to relate to for most people.
Feedforward activates the will and motivation to adjust and change one’s behaviour. Not least because it is the person in focus who gets to choose which behaviour, he or she wants to change.
