If you are one of those managers, who rarely gives feedback, it is a good idea to kickstart new habits to create a constructive feedback culture.

There are many reasons why we are cautious to give honest feedback. Some of them are: We don’t like unpleasant counter reactions, the co-worker reacts by defending him or herself, we are afraid to hurt other people’s feelings or to make them uncomfortable.

But most people are actually very interested in learning about how they are doing. And with good reason! Feedback on our efforts and behaviour can make a huge difference to our effect.
